Securing America’s Infrastructure

Our roads, water, electrical grid, telecommunications, broadband, all require strategic planning and security. Idaho currently sends its power to another state and purchases power from another state with a major tectonic plate between us. That means an earthquake outside of Idaho can turn our power off despite our dams. That’s just bad planning. It doesn’t cost very much to retrofit and secure our nation’s power lines against EMP, but it hasn’t been done.
